Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 16, 2026
StatsByGender.com ("we", "our", "the site") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and the third-party services involved in operating the site.
No Personal Data Stored
We do not require accounts and we do not store personal data about visitors. Search queries entered on the site are processed in real time to generate research summaries and are not saved to any database. We do not build profiles, track you across sites, or sell information about you.
Email Newsletter
We collect an email address only when you voluntarily subscribe to our weekly digest. Your address is used solely to send that newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email, which permanently removes your address from our list. We never sell, rent, or share email addresses with third parties.
Third-Party Services
To operate the site we rely on a small number of third-party services. Each handles data according to its own privacy policy.
- Claude AI (Anthropic) — generates research-style answers to your questions. Queries are sent to Anthropic's API for processing and are subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.
- Mailchimp — stores and delivers the email newsletter. Subscriber data is governed by Mailchimp's privacy policy.
- Google Analytics (if enabled) — provides aggregate, anonymized traffic statistics. No personally identifying information is collected.
- Google AdSense (if enabled) — may serve advertisements and use cookies to measure ad performance. See Google's ad policy.
Affiliate Links Disclosure
The site does not currently use affiliate links. If we add them in the future — for example, linking to a book or research database — those links will be clearly disclosed on the relevant page. We will only ever link to resources we believe are genuinely useful to readers.
Cookies
StatsByGender.com uses cookies only for essential functionality (such as remembering your light or dark display preference) and, where enabled, for the analytics and advertising services listed above. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to function normally without them.
Children's Privacy
The site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
